There aren't a lot of movies that I typically have 0 negatives on and while not every movie is perfect in real life, once in a blue moon a movie hit the theaters and, in my opinion, it's perfect.
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3" is one of those movies where I have 0 negatives about it.
I will give you all 4 main points that are my biggest takeaways from the movie. The film is filled with amazing things, but these are my favorite things.
The Soundtrack.
Each song represents a part in the movie that is impactful and sets the tone for that scene. The soundtrack in Vol.3 does a great job at that in a few big ways.
One instance is the song "Crazy On You" by Heart plays when we first are introduced to Adam Warlock as he flies in space to fight the Guardians. I will always think of that scene when I hear that song.

Another one which is my favorite is "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" by Beastie Boys. This song hits when the Guardians have an EPIC hallway fight with The High Evolutionary's forces. Each member of the team gets to shine and hearing this song in the background makes it so much better!
I think the biggest and best choice for one of the final songs in the movie was "Dog Days Are Over" by Florence + the Machine. The placement of this song and the lyrics just make everything feel perfect. I was already crying and then Gunn hits us with this song and I just smiled.
The Action.
When you have a team like the Guardians, you are going to have some amazing actions and even though this movie wasn't filled with action, when there was it was awesome!
I said earlier about the epic hallway fight scene, which is my favorite, but there are also some moments that I found myself moving in my seat and air punching with the team.

Towards the end, the team fights The High Evolutionary and each member gets their own shot at him with kicks, punches, blasts and body slams. I was cheering the entire time.
Any fight with Adam Warlock had me locked in. Seeing him use his powers against either random people or against the Guardians was cool and honestly, Adam Warlock is a favorite of mine so I may be a bit biased.
The Characters.
Where do I even begin with this one.
Each character in this film was amazing. From Star-Lord to Cosmo, I felt a connection with all of them and that was great.
The OG 5 had major roles of course, but it was great seeing more of Mantis and Kraglin and seeing a different side of Nebula.
Adam Warlock is a new favorite of mine but you knew that already and Cosmo was such a good dog.

The villain of the film, The High Evolutionary was so menacing and so evil and it was perfect. What he did to those poor animals really made my grind my teeth in anger and when he was defeated I cheered. That is what I want from a villain.
The Emotion.
The best way I can describe the emotions I had during this movie was like a boxing match.
I took each scene and each chapter as a "round" where I would either be standing tall or knocked out with tears coming down my face.
I took some body blows when I felt my anger rise up during some scenes, but I also stood tall when a smile or a laugh was on my face.
The premiere night for this movie was May 4th and as I type this on May 7th, I have seen it twice and I have cried both times. No shame here.
Overall, this movie was perfect in my opinion. I know that says a lot, but I had a blast watching this film and I will 1000% be getting this the day it drops on DVD! I highly recommend seeing "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3"!
