What If.. Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?

We are now on episode four of Marvel Studios "What If..?" animated series on Disney+ and it's been nothing but good all around! I've said it once and I'll say it again but this show was always my most anticipated when it was announced. Just like the last reviews, there are always the same positives and same negatives like I love how some of the actors came back to voice their respective characters but I hate how short these episodes are. So now let's get into episode 4 titled "What If Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?"
This s a spoiler free review so I won't go into any details about it but wow this episode was dark and emotional and crazy all at once. The episode takes a minuet to start and has a slow build but once it hits the peak, it's good. Dr. Strange has always been a unique character to me simply because he's working in the mystic arts and time and that in itself is a head scratcher but this episode really helps show that if you mess with time, bad things will occur. Another part of this episode that I enjoyed was the emotional part. We have heartache, greed, love, and frustration all in this one 30/40 minuet episode and the show does a great job at making the audience feel all of them. I also think we are starting to get seeds of what Phase 4 will be like and what characters might be introduced in the live-action MCU, but I could be totally wrong. I enjoyed this episode, but it's not my favorite of he four we've seen so far. The slow build made it drag at times and with it dragging at the beginning of the episode hurts people's attention span, but if you're a nerd like me then you just sit and wait because the episode all together is solid. I am hoping we can see more of this in future projects because having a darker side to Marvel was a wild ride!
With only four episodes in, "What If..?" has given us some great content and that's exactly what I want. I know that the remaining episodes will bring out some crazy things and I cannot wait! "What If Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?" gets a 7.5/10!
